Dr. David Adams
Dr. David Adams is a graduate of North Carolina State University. He completed his dental training and residency in periodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky. Upon completing his residency and Masters in Oral Biology, he moved back to his hometown of Garner and started a private practice focused on periodontal treatment and implant dentistry.
Beyond his specialty training, Dr. Adams has been examined by a panel of internationally respected peers and awarded Diplomate status – the highest recognition of achievement afforded by the specialty. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Adams has demonstrated motivation for continued professional development, self evaluation, critical review of results of therapy and interest in providing the best, most up to date care.
Dr. Adams is highly involved in dental organizations at both the local and national levels. He currently hosts seminars and study clubs for other dental professionals. He has given lectures at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and presented his research at national meetings.
Dr. Adams and his wife, Tamara, also a native of Wake County, have 2 daughters, Mallory and Avery, and a son, Jonathan. In his free time, Dr. Adams enjoys spending time with his family, cheering for the NCSU Wolfpack at football and basketball games, hunting, fishing, and snow skiing.
